Our Staff
Robin-Technical Assistant
Robin is a native of the
Shenandoah Valley with a love for animals that was recognized at a very young age- spending much of her time at her uncle's farm. She currently lives with 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 birds. Robin has been assisting with veterinary care for over 25 years and is a tremendous asset to our staff. Her attention to detail is a major factor in our patient care!
Kirsten-Technical Assistant
Having worked at Towne for 5 years, Kirsten balances her skill as one of the senior technical assistants with a genius for managing all aspects of our inventory. A resident of Loudoun, she has 5 Border Collies, 1 cat, and 3 horses of her own. Not only does Kirsten show her dogs in Agility at the national level, she also teaches clicker training and agility at A Click Above dog school in Leesburg. We love Kirsten!
Jeanna-Technical Assistant
Originally from
England, Jeanna moved to
America 22 years ago and has called
Virginia home for the last 10 years. We tease her about her accent, but it doesn't faze the hospitalized pets-they recognize her compassion immediately. She shares her spare time with 4 cats, 1 dog, 1 bird, and assorted chickens and ducks. As trustworthy and professional an individual as you can find.
Courtney-Technical Assistant
Born into an Army family, Courtney traveled extensively before settling in Loudoun 5 years ago. She would like to pursue Veterinary Medicine as her career, but for now fills her time with horses and Tae Kwon Do (a black belt, no less!). She also lavishes her attention on her dog, who modeled for pictures on our website. We want her back as a doctor some day!

Christina-Customer Service Representative
A
Virginia native, Christina left the corporate world in March 2000 in search of a slower pace and a job that would fully realize her compassion for animals. She found her niche at Towne and has been our go-to computer guru ever since. Christina shares her home with 4 cats, a special-needs lovebird, an aquatic turtle, and a hamster.
Angela--Technical Assitant
Born and raised in Tennessee, Angela moved from Wilmington, NC in August 2007 with her dog and two cats and joined the team. Angela has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience as an assistant for 6 years and is aspiring to receive her official tech certification. She is the resident class clown at Towne and an admitted chocoholic. Her wit and fun loving nature put both clients and pets at ease and compliment the professionalism she demonstrates in her work. She has quickly become a vital part of our staff.

Yvette--Customer Service Representative
Yvette has called western Loudoun home since 2002 after traveling the world with her family. She shares her home with 3 cats, 1 dog, 3 rats, and a chinchilla. She is a push-over for a fuzzy face and loves helping their human parents here at Towne.

Sara-Customer Service Representative
Sara was born in Winchester, but was raised in Centreville, Va. She graduated from Chantilly High School in 2000. She moved to Purcellville in 2005 and lives with her husband, 2 yr old daughter, 2 cats, 3 dogs and 2 fish. Sara has always had a love for animals and an interest in their care and well being. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Rebecca-Technical Assistant
Rebecca was born and raised in central Wisconsin and has worked in the veterinary field since 1993. Moving for her husbands field of work she lived in the "Beach Cities"of California for 3 1/2 years before moving to Virginia. She now resides in Leesburg with her 2 dachshunds, 2 dobermans, 1 labrador, 1 cat and salt water aquariums. She enjoys spending her time working on her salt water aquariums, studying veterinary related subjects, reading, hiking, and outdoor activities.

Otis--Greeter
Our 15 years young domestic shorthair fur-ball is the centerpiece of the reception area. He “helps” with just about every task he feels inclined to, and spends the rest of his time sleeping. He is our weight-loss success story, weighing in at 21.5 pounds when he came to live with us in August 2007, and now at 15 pounds. Due to multiple break-ins of the cat room food storage, Otis has to stay behind the front desk these days. So, as the sign by the door says, “Don’t let the cat out, no matter what it tells you!”
Veterinary Technicians, Assistants and Customer Service Representatives are essential in the health care of our patients. At Towne, we have all the modern tools to maintain your companion's health. At the same time, our clients appreciate the more intimate family atmosphere that allows the staff to know your pet and you to know our team members. When illness does occur, this familiarity helps reduce stress and optimizes the care of your pet.
